FAQ

We are a community of all walks of life: women, men, sons, daughters, one-parent and two-parent families, grandparents, children and friends.  We are diverse in gender, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, abilities, and ethnicity.  But most importantly, we are a community that really care about one another and strive to show our love of God and love of neighbor as best we can. 

Will I be welcome?  

Absolutely. Everyone is truly welcome and respected.

How could you have that sign out front that says: "we wish our Muslim neighbors a blessed Ramadan" and also have that rainbow bench in the same place?  

How could we not? They both speak of our radical welcome.

Is Emmanuel a safe place?

This is a safe place to be. We treat everyone with respect, honoring their particular journey in life. We believe transparency is central to a healthy church. We encourage all questions.

How much church money goes toward the church versus outreach?

We tithe 10% of our giving to missions and ministries beyond our doors.
