Ecumenical Joint Worship Service, 11 AM, Sunday, Sept. 5 at First United Methodist Church - Massena - Emmanuel will be joining this service. There will be no 11 AM service at Emmanuel this Sunday (Sept. 5)

Pastor Judy was ordained April 25th @ 3 p.m.   On April 25th, we celebrated and hosted the ordination of our beloved Pastor Judy.  It was a very moving service for one so deserving to become part of the ordained Christian ministry.  From the special liturgical dance presentation of the ARC dancers, the special message from the Rev. Jane Wagner and the 'Laying of the Hands', it was a very moving service.  Truly the Holy Spirit was present.  Amen!

Maundy Thursday was observed again this year by sharing a meal together, just as Jesus did 2000 years ago with his disciples.  The day we call Maundy Thursday was the day Jesus celebrated the Passover.  At 6 p.m. on April 1 in our Community Room, we took part in the Seder (the meal and liturgy used to celebrate the Passover).  Here are 2 links w/pictures from that event:

Emmanuel's Rededication and Homecoming was indeed a GRAND CELEBRATION.  After 2-1/2 years Emmanuel rededicated it's new/old church building on Saturday December 12, 2009 at 1 p.m.  Here is a link to a video from that wondrous day:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1mxvmDdn94&feature=channel
